Over the years HSL have gained much valuable experience when it comes to providing comfortable chairs. We have used this as well as the feedback from our many customers to develop our unique range.

Our range of riser recliners have all the benefits of the manual recliners, with so much more, at the touch of a button.
One of the big benefits our customers most appreciate with an Electric Recliner is the independence it provides.
Those who may otherwise need help when rising from a chair can do so by themselves, at the touch of a button, on the electric handset control.
The chairs will also recline and raise the footrest to whatever relaxing position you most prefer.
Riser Recliners come in two different types - Single or Dual motor
In a single motor recliner, the back and footrest are operated at the same time by one motor.
In a dual motor, the back and footrest have separate motors.
This means it is still easy to use but your can move both the back and footrest individually to get them in the perfect position to suit your comfort needs. For example, many of our customers like to have the footrest only raised in what we call the TV watching position.
Massage Therapy.
Massage Therapy Systems are available with the Linton Catch Recliner and the Linton Lift, Rise and Recline Chairs.
They can help relax physical fatigue and sooth mental stress. Whenever you would like to give stiff or tired muscles a rest a Massage Therapy System could be a great help. At the same time you are relaxing your body you can also ease your mind into a peaceful repose. A Massage Therapy System can take you to new levels of comfort you've never experienced before. Try one and see for yourself. You can choose 5 body areas you wish to massage from your shoulders to your legs:-
These areas can be massaged independently Or alternatively you can press the 'WAVE' button on the handset control to provide a full body massage. You can regulate the intensity and speed to suit your preference. There is also a heating element which will apply gentle heat to the lumber region of your back.
N.B:- If you use a medical device (such as a pacemaker) or have a medical condition, you should consult your doctor before ordering a massage therapy system.
Massage Therapy Systems are available with HSL electrically adjustable beds
A Massage Therapy System can be fitted to HSL adjustable beds. Just a few minutes of massage can be very beneficial to aid relaxation and provide you with a better nights sleep. The soft vibrations through the mattress not only help to relax stiff or tired muscles, the can also help to improve the circulation of the blood.
Double beds have a separate massage system for each side of the bed, which means the each partner can operate their massage system independently.
Safety Features
HSL Riser Recliner Chairs
All HSL Riser Recliner Chairs are designed to provide maximum relaxation. This includes maximum peace of mind when it comes to safety aspects.
These are the main safety features incorporated into our chairs:-
(N.B. Not all chairs incorporate all of the safety features - see table below)
- A battery back-up means you can still operate your chair for a limited time, even if the mains supply is cut off.
- Key-operated handsets to ensure children or other unauthorised users are unable to operate the chair if you are not in the room.
HSL Back-Care Chairs
All chairs have hardwood legs for extra strength. They are designed wide enough apart to be extremely stable.
HSL Electrically Adjustable Beds
Pressurite mattresses have been tested and approved by FIRA (Furniture Industry Research Association) for durability and are flame retardant. They meet UK fire retardancy regulations.
The natural treatment of Sanicot to Pressurite mattresses mean they will remain free from mould, bacteria and dust mites. This reduces the risk of allergic reaction whilst you sleep.
Pressurite is also hypoallergenic and its open cell structure allows the visco-elastic to breathe and disperse moisture whilst you sleep.
A layer of medium density foam ensures that the body is supported to promote a natural anatomically correct sleeping position.
