How do I order?

There are several easy ways to order. You can order by phone or by using the order form in the brochure and posting or faxing it back to us. You can pay by cheque or credit/debit card. Either send the full amount with your order form or, if you prefer, just send a deposit of £100 for each chair, bed or mattress ordered. You can pay the balance by cheque to the driver when your order arrives or by phoning HSL with your credit/debit card number.


Please note when ordering on the web site the full amount will be deducted from your credit card.

What happens when you receive my order?

We will post a receipt to you confirming that your order has been received detailing what you have ordered.

Please check your receipt carefully and let us know if we get it wrong

When can I expect delivery?

Delivery times vary throughout the year and also depend on the product. Upholstered goods are hand-made to order - please 'phone 01924 507050 for up-to-date delivery times. Beds and mattresses are normally delivered within 2 to 3 weeks of receiving your order. For all upholstered furniture, beds and mattresses, when your order is ready, you will be offered a delivery date by 'phone, giving you as much notice as possible.( standard delivery only )

What will I have to do when the delivery men arrive?

Standard delivery is where our specialist delivery teams will unpack and set up your order in the room of your choice, providing instruction where necessary. They will ensure your goods are in full working order before they leave Smaller items such as pillows etc are delivered by a standard national carrier.We also offer express delivery on selected items(please check the delivery option for your item)We strongly advise you have assistance at hand for all express deliveries

Can you dispose of my old furniture?

Our teams who deliver beds and mattresses on the standard delivery service have the facility to collect and dispose of your old bed/mattress when they make the delivery. Please tick the relevant box on the Order Form  or call 01924 507050 if you require this service.

 Express delivery teams do NOT have the facility to remove old beds/mattresses 

We do NOT have the facility to remove old chairs and sofas

Can I order at a VAT FREE price?

Yes, if you are chronically sick or disabled and the product you are ordering is denoted 'VAT Free', having been designed for invalids. This applies only to electrically operated chairs and beds. When you order at a VAT Free price, you will be required to fill in the VAT exemption form online to complete the transaction

Can I see and try HSL furniture before I buy?

Yes, you can visit one of our nationwide showrooms which are open 7 days a week. Each showroom should have our complete range on display for you to try and our expert showroom staff are available to provide advice or answer any questions you may have. Details of our showrooms can be found on this website.We recomend you call the showroom first to check the item you wish to try is still available avoiding an wasted journey
